How do I join IndieProse?
To become a member of IndieProse, one of your published books must be reviewed and approved. Membership is open to anyone, though our focus is finding and promoting outstanding self-published and small press books.

What are reviewers looking for?
Simply stated: compelling books. It's not enough for your work to be grammatically correct and free of typographical errors. IndieProse titles captivate readers, teach them, entertain them, and leave them thinking.

How can you review every self-published book?
We can't. We seek the best through a wide variety of sources, but we do accept unsolicited submissions for review. We provide review services by charging a small fee to compensate our reviewers.

I think I have what it takes. How do I apply?
Send your  bound book to:
IndieProse.com
P.O. Box 155
Sheldonville, MA 02070-0155

Include the following:
A letter introducing the work
(1) check for initial assessment  $50.00
(1) check for cataloging & review $100.00

What is evaluated during the initial assessment?
During the initial assessment, our reviewers will evaluate the professionalism of your cover including images and typesetting. Interior layout will be evaluated and the book will be read for typographical errors, grammatical errors, word use, and writing style. If the work passes all of these tests, it will be read for impact.

What if my title is rejected?
IndieProse will send you a letter detailing the reasons your title was rejected. Your $100 check for the cataloging fee will be destroyed and your book will be donated to a local library. You are eligible to submit other titles, but IndieProse will not accept the same title for submission within six months.

What if my title is accepted?
An IndieProse reviewer will read the entire book and write an IndieProse review to be posted here and on Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, and GoodReads. Your IndieProse author page will be created and you will be given access to post news items on the IndieProse website. Your title will appear in the IndieProse newsletter sent to readers interested in your genre. Your book will be registered with IndieProse and you will be given a JPG file for use on your promotional materials including book covers, website, blog, and social media sites.
