This book is every father's worst nightmare. A pipe bomb explodes at a Planned Parenthood clinic and kills a young girl. Based on the title, and the subject matter--a teen sex club--this would be a difficult read for most fathers. But Sellers handles the subject matter with care and delivers a view into the lives of a group of teenagers who do things no father believes his fourteen year old capable of. Sellers sufficiently shrouds the teens’ exploits with the death of a second young girl and the search for her killer. Sellers skill allows a view into the world of abortion, teen sex, and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases without seeming lewd.

Detective Wade Jackson begins work on his first case and his relationship with Kera Kollmorgan, a Planned Parenthood staffer who has information that may be helpful to Jackson if she were only allowed to share it with him. The team investigates and romance blossoms, setting the stage for future books in the series.
